PRIVACY & ORDERS

Playing the games

Out the Jam saves your best score, selected character, and game preferences in this browser’s local storage. These settings may be lost if you clear browser data, switch browsers, or play on another device or website address.

Street Kings saves audio, graphics, and lineup preferences in browser storage. Both games use the official Surviving Chicago logo and soundtrack. Players can adjust playback preferences but cannot upload replacement logos or music. Both Street Kings and Out the Jam support keyboard and on-screen touch controls.

Book requests

The direct-order button prepares an email to admin@survivingchicagoseries.com. It does not create a paid order, take payment, or confirm stock. You choose whether to send the message. Surviving Chicago confirms availability, shipping or pickup, any applicable taxes, the final total, and payment instructions by email before purchase.

Contact the business at the same email address with questions about an order or your information. Never send credit card information in an email.

Merchandise

The official merchandise page links to the Surviving Chicago Printify store. Printify shows current products, prices, shipping, and checkout details and handles merchandise orders under its own terms and privacy practices.

Amazon and other websites

The Amazon buttons open the book listings provided by Surviving Chicago (Amazon products B0HMZ4D32T and B0HN4MJ8QS). Availability, pricing, checkout, shipping, and returns on Amazon are governed by the actual listing and Amazon’s terms. Social links take you to third-party services, which have their own privacy practices. Most videos are hosted directly on this site. Do or Do Part 3 uses a YouTube player loaded when you choose that episode. YouTube receives connection information and may store data when you use its player. You can also open the episode on YouTube.

Audience measurement

We measure visits across our website, app, and games to understand which pages people use. We collect page paths (without query strings), visit times, referring website domains, device and browser categories, and approximate city, region, and country based on your connection. We do not store raw IP addresses, GPS coordinates, names, email addresses, or form contents in the traffic dashboard. External link clicks are measured; they do not tell us whether you completed a purchase.

We estimate city, region, and country automatically from your public connection IP address. When live lookup is enabled, our server sends that address over HTTPS to IPQuery for an approximate location. We do not send browser identifiers, page paths, referrers, or GPS coordinates to that service. IPQuery reports temporary caching and abuse-prevention logging. We retain only coarse location results and do not store raw IP addresses or GPS coordinates in our analytics database. If a live city lookup is unavailable, we show the country when available. When live lookup is disabled, we use a locally hosted DB-IP Lite database, licensed under CC BY 4.0.

Network estimates may identify a mobile carrier, relay, or internet provider in another city, even without a VPN. They do not establish your physical location. Location estimates require no visitor action or device location permission. We use the browser time zone only to check conflicting network estimates; it cannot identify a city by itself.

A random browser identifier is stored on your device for up to 30 days, and a session identifier groups activity until 30 minutes of inactivity. Detailed visit history is available for 90 days. Expired records are removed during ongoing collection. To limit automated submissions and cache location estimates, we use keyed, daily-changing network identifiers that expire after up to 24 hours and are removed during ongoing collection; raw IP addresses are not stored in our analytics database. The analytics dashboard is restricted to the owner. Browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals are respected. You can opt out of our measurement on this device using the button below. Clearing browser data removes this preference.
